THAT the Healthy Growth Committee recommends to Council that the Township reviews and updates its “C2- Highway Commercial” zoning regulations to reduce barriers and facilitate additional residential units in Highway Commercial zones in accordance with Strategic Plan Direction 1 regarding attainable housing; and THAT the Healthy Growth Committee recommends to Council that the Township pursues a Community Planning Permit System (CPPS); AND THAT the Healthy Growth Committee endorses updating of the County and Township Community Improvement Plans (CIP) to add incentives that increase the supply of attainable housing.
