Page 4 of 9 Council Minutes April 13, 2026 THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington authorize staff to submit an application to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities for funding under the Growing Canada’s Community Canopies initiative in support of the Urban Forest Resilience and Natural Asset Management Initiative; AND THAT Council endorse an in-kind contribution of $22,300 for staff time spent on the project from the Urban Forestry operating budget; AND THAT Council approves granting delegated authority to the Managing Director of Corporate Services & Treasurer to sign a letter confirming the Township’s in-kind support for the project, which will be included with the grant funding application.
