Council

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve the reports from the Committee of the Whole dated September 9 & 23, 2019 as circulated.

Dunsmore. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington receive and endorse the report prepared by Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health, titled "Healthy Community Design Baseline Project: Neighbourhood Design Survey and Physical-Form Indicators", dated May 2019; AND THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington direct staff to release the above report to the public and agencies for use as a resource document to help plan for healthy growth and community design; AND THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington direct staff to implement the recommendations made in the above report. MacRae. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve application RZ10/18; and, THAT a by-law to amend By-law 2009-045 be given three readings.

MacRae. Page 6 of 10 Council Minutes September 30, 2019 THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve application RZ07/18 as amended; and, THAT Council deems that further public consultation is not required; and, THAT a by-law to amend By-law 2009-045 be given three readings.

Dunsmore. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve an amendment to the Township's Fees & Charges By-law with respect to watermain connection and extension fees in Salem as outlined in report COR2019-62 dated September 30, 2019; AND THAT a by-law be signed by the Mayor and Clerk with respect to the amendment.

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington delegate authority to the Managing Director of Corporate Services & Treasurer to enter into extension agreements with applicable and eligible properties for taxation purposes; AND THAT By-law 2016-041 be amended to reflect this added delegation of authority.

Dunsmore. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute a South Ridge Park Public Washroom Construction and Advertising Agreement between the Township of Centre Wellington and Wrighthaven Homes Ltd.

MacRae. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington receive for information CAO Report CAO2019-09, 2019 Employee Compensation Program Update, dated September 30, 2019; AND FURTHER THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve Appendix A – 2019 Proposed Salary Grid for implementation effective January 1, 2020.

VanLeeuwen. THAT By-laws 2019-52 through 2019-56 be read a first, second and third time and passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk and the Corporate Seal affixed.

Dunsmore. THAT By-law 2019-57 to Confirm the Proceedings of Council at its meeting held September 30, 2019 be introduced a first, second and third time and passed in open Council.
