Council

Kitras. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute a new interest free loan agreement with the Elora Centre for the Arts; AND notwithstanding the Township's Interest Free Loan Policy, extend the term of the interest free loan to a ten (10) year term.

THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington adopt the Public Forest Policy; AND THAT Council direct staff to implement the Public Forest Policy in accordance with the resources available through the annual budget process for Centre Wellington.

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approves the Community Services – 2018 Facility Operations Schedule.

THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington confirms the appointment of the following members to the Victoria Park Seniors Centre's Advisory Board: Don Barfoot, Vice Chair Ian Burns, Chair Kathy Dodwell Isabel Kennedy Mick Smith Donna Wagenaar, Treasurer June Wallsten, Secretary

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington gives three readings to a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute a Page 7 of 11 Council Minutes January 29, 2018 subdivision agreement between the Corporation and Sorbara FBH 36.98 G.P. Inc.

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington add the properties at 43 West Mill St, Elora (Gorge Cinema), 7460 Wellington Rd. 21, Elora (Nieuwland Feeds property) and 7460 Wellington Rd. 18 (former St. Marys Cement) to the list of Priority Sites, as required under Community Improvement Plan Implementation Report, PLN2015-12, dated January 29, 2018; AND THAT Council authorizes the use of Level Two (2) Financial Incentives for these properties as indicated, subject to additional approval by Council on an individual property basis.

Stephen Kitras. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve a Jobs and Investment Incentive Grant in the amount of $23,562.00 in favour of R & K Pope Holdings Ltd., (Motion Electrical Contracting) as set out in the Jobs and Investment Incentive Program; And authorize the Managing Director of Corporate Services to execute an agreement.

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington appoint Marie- France Kenyon and Steven Weir as Livestock Investigators.

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington award Request For Proposal #43-17 regarding the preparation of a Water Supply Master Plan to Aecom Canada Ltd. at an total upset limit of $212,820, Page 9 of 11 Council Minutes January 29, 2018 exclusive of HST, to be funded from the Long Term Water Supply Study capital project.

Fisher. THAT By-laws 2018-02 and 2018-03 be read a first, second and third time and passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk and the Corporate Seal affixed.
