VanLeeuwen THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve the Terms of Reference Growth Management Strategy prepared by Stantec Consulting Ltd. dated January 12, 2016 including the composition of the Steering Committee as set out in the Terms of Reference; AND FURTHER THAT Mayor Linton and Councillors McElwain and Lloyd be appointed as the Council representatives on the Steering Committee; AND FURTHER THAT the Steering Committee be authorized to Page 5 of 8 Council Minutes January 25, 2016 establish subject matter subcommittees as required; AND FURTHER THAT Council approve Stantec Consulting Ltd. and Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. as single source vendors for a period of three (3) years as detailed in this report and to particularly complete the Growth Management Strategy on the Township’s behalf.

THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington receive Report COR2016-10, dated January 25, 2016 from the Manager of Legislative Services/Municipal Clerk regarding the Public Sector and MPP Accountability and Transparency Act, 2014 (Bill 8); AND THAT Council default to the Provincial Ombudsman as the investigator for complaints as they relate to the Public Sector and MPP Accountability and Transparency Act.

THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington receive as information a report on the Connecting Links Program Application for the St. David Street Bridge Superstructure Replacement as outlined in Report No. IS-2016-01 dated January 25, 2016.

THAT By-laws 2016-01 through 2016-04 be read a first, second and third time and passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk and the Corporate Seal affixed.

THAT By-law 2016-05 to Confirm the Proceedings of Council at its meeting held January 25, 2016 be introduced a first, second and third time and passed in open Council.

THAT this meeting be adjourned.
