Kimberley Jefferson. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington receive for information the Centre Wellington Urban Forestry update.

Jennifer Adams. THAT The Council of the Township of Centre Wellington direct the OLG funds allocated to Economic Development in 2024 to the Termite Management Program.

Lustgarten-Evoy. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington direct staff to include tennis in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan in 2024.

Kimberley Jefferson. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington delay the following projects from the 2024 Capital Budget until 2025: Tourism Office Renovation ($26,000) Elora Tourism Washroom Design ($50,000) AND THAT the following projects: Sportsplex Pad B Seating Area Heating ($20,000 with a $15,000 top-up) Sportsplex Hall Basketball Nets ($30,000) be moved from 2025 in the 10 Year Capital forecast into the 2024 Capital Budget

Kimberley Jefferson. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington increase the investment income in the 2024 budget by $50,000.

Kimberley Jefferson. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington directs staff to initiate discussions with the Elora Centre for the Arts regarding opportunities for collaboration and support, and report back to Council.

Jennifer Adams. THAT the meeting be adjourned and reconvene on December 8th at 9:00 am.

Lustgarten-Evoy. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington pass a by-law to establish the 2024 fees and charges for various services provided by the Township, and repeal by-laws 2023-01, 2023-06, and 2023-29.

Denis Craddock. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington remove the rental of the temporary washrooms in downtown Elora in the amount of $14,000 from the 2024 Budget; And direct staff to investigate other funding opportunities for this initiative in 2024.

MacDonald. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington direct staff to investigate the profitability of the Fergus Grand Theare and report back to Council.

Craddock. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approves an interest free loan to the Elora BIA in the amount of $50,000.

Jennifer Adams. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve the 2024 Business Plan, as amended as follows: a) Remove Item # 2 (Page 9), Retrofit Tourism Office space to improve visitor experience and staff workspaces; b) Remove Item # 3 (Page 9), Complete design of additional washroom and visitor space beside the Tourism Office; c) Add Item #17 (Page 17), Install seating area heating at the Sportsplex (Pad B; d) Add Item # 18 (Page 17), Install basketball nets at the Sportsplex Hall; e) Amend Item # 3 (Page 11), Expand Fergus Theatre program, and investigate the profitability of the Fergus Grand Theatre;
