THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington not object to the demolition of the structure(s) at the listed property municipally known as 550 James Street, Fergus, based on the property’s cultural heritage value and/or interest; AND THAT the property municipally known as 550 James Street, Fergus, be removed from the Township’s Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Properties; AND THAT Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve the demolition of the dwelling located at 550 James Street, Fergus, pursuant to Section 33 of the Planning Act, in accordance with By-law 2007-021; AND THAT the owner provide to Heritage Centre Wellington complete photo documentation of the entire structure prior to its demolition and be encouraged to salvage for re-use as much material as possible in order to divert it from landfill. VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approves the issuance of a demolition permit to demolish the single detached dwelling located at 560 James Street, former Town of Fergus, Plan 55, Part Park Lot 3.

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington direct staff to include comments to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to recommend inclusion of potential impacts of a Greenbelt expansion on farming operations, home affordability and land values.

Lloyd. Page 3 of 6 Committee of the Whole Minutes February 20, 2018 THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington receive Report PLN2018-04 dated February 20, 2018 for information; AND THAT the report, as amended be submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs.

Mary Lloyd. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an agreement with The Van Grootheest Team, Century 21 Excalibur Realty Brokerage Inc. to construct a public washroom as depicted in schedule B of Report CS2018-04 dated February 20, 2018; AND FURTHER THAT the organization be permitted to display their commercial signage on the side of the public washroom in a form similar to that depicted in Schedule B of Report CS2018-04 for a period of 20 years from the time of execution of this agreement; AND FURTHER THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington approve the capital expenditure of $5000 for building permit fees, utility connections and site works.

Page 4 of 6 Committee of the Whole Minutes February 20, 2018 THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington authorize the single source contract award for supply and delivery of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment to A. J. Stone Co. Ltd. in the amount of $340,313, exclusive of HST, to be funded as identified in report COR2018-06.

VanLeeuwen. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington appoint The Corporation of the County of Wellington to be the Township's agent for certain matters related to assessment, as outlined in Report COR2018- 07, dated February 20, 2018; AND THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign a by-law related to this appointment.

Fisher. THAT the Council of the Township of Centre Wellington receive as information the following 2017 Water Wastewater and Source Protection Annual Reports: • Township of Centre Wellington - Drinking Water System Annual Report; • Township of Centre Wellington - Drinking Water System Page 5 of 6 Committee of the Whole Minutes February 20, 2018 Summary Report; • Elora Wastewater Treatment Plant - Annual Performance Report; • Fergus Wastewater Treatment Plant - Annual Performance Report; and • Township of Centre Wellington - Risk Management Official and Municipal Annual Report.
